The In Win 707 and 703 Cases Dial Back Flare for More Traditional Design

In Win’s cases have been nothing short of stunning, both in design and in price. From the elegant tempered glass paneled Tou, to the daring new S-Frame, it seemed that the company was starting to abandon “normal cases” forever. But that’s clearly not the case because of the million cases In Win manufactures per month, the “crazy cases” make up a very small part of their business. For people looking for something a little for a more traditional, two new cases have finally been unveiled: The Full Tower 707 and the Mid Tower 703 have arrived!

The In Win 707 and 703 represent a more traditional retail product for the PC enthusiast market. Although the design seems to resemble NZXT’s latest efforts, in reality, the case has been on show since early 2014. In fact, the case was at CES 2014, but compared to the Tou and their new 901 and 904 series cases, at the time, they just looked normal. But some people like normal, so In Win decided to go ahead and begin producing the cases, which combine SECC steel and plastic into distinct versions of the case, in two different sizes. For example, the black and red model of the 707 (shown above) has room for up to 10 fans, with room for both 360mm and 240mm radiators, and is fitted with a windowed side panel.  The white version, replaces the side window for a solid panel, loaded with sound dampening material, and other “silent PC” enhancements. The 703 is just a slightly scaled down version of both cases.

All four models offer up to 20mms of space behind the motherboard tray for cable management, huge CPU cooler installation cut outs, and room for coolers that are up to 206mm in height. And of course, the 707 and 703 will have a high level of fit and finish that we expect from In Win.

UPDATE: The only piece of the puzzle left is the price, which has not been announced at this time. But given what competitors are doing, a good guess would be around the $120 US range for the full tower, with the mid tower, tucking behind at around $100 US. And I’d imagine that you’d have your pick of the silent version or the windowed version. But again, it’s only a guess. which has been set at $159.99 US for the 707, and $79.99 US for the 703. The white version of both cases will be priced just a little higher, and we’ll update you when we have the exact prices. The expected retail arrival date for both cases, in both trim levels, is around the end of December of this year. So hopefully, just in time for the holidays.

In Win Launches 707 and 703 PC Chassis

[Taoyuan, Taiwan, October 2014] In Win Development Inc., a leading innovator in PC design and winner of internationally renowned design awards, has today announced availability of its new 707 full-tower and 703 mid-tower, mainstream PC chassis.

707 Full Tower

Available initially in Gaming Black, with Silent White following shortly after, the 707 is a full tower PC chassis with svelte, contemporary styling that blends great features and value for PC builders.

Both are constructed from strong and reliable SECC steel, with the black featuring an acrylic side panel window, and the white fitted with sound damping to provide a choice of style and features.

The case affords exceptional cooling capacity with support for both 360mm and 240mm water cooling radiators in the roof and bottom respectively. Up to 10 fans can be fitted (Gaming Black version), and there is 206mm in depth to the opposite side panel giving ample clearance for extra-tall coolers, while a large cut-out in the motherboard tray aids heatsink or water block installation.

The three 5.25-inch bays are hidden behind a one-touch, pop-open door, and inside the eight 3.5-inch HDD bays require no screws for drive installation. Plenty of cable management and a large 20mm gap behind the motherboard tray keeps PC builds extremely neat for great looks and airflow. The 707 is the first step to a PC build you can be proud to show off through outside, in!

703 Mid Tower

The 703 is ideal for smaller PC builds that still require an ATX motherboard. Both black and white versions feature the large side-panel window, to proudly display your PC build inside.

Constructed using the same SECC steel as the 707, the 703 offers a similar, stealthy 5.25-inch external drive bay with two more inside and four internal, tool-less 3.5-inch HDD bays. Designed primarily for heatsinks or all-in-one liquid cooling, it has an ample 170mm depth to the acrylic window opposite for tall heatsinks, cable routing holes and large heatsink installation hole in the motherboard tray.
