Counter-terrorists win. There’s some big news coming out of ELEAGUE this week as Kingston Technology’s HyperX division has officially announced that it is the official headset sponsor of the popular CS:GO eSports competition. Players will hear every headshot with the greatest of clarity and they’ll look great doing it with the Cloud series of gaming headsets.

As you might already know, ELEAGUE is a televised league focusing primarily on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. There’s regular season coverage live on Twitch every week, culminating to a Friday night showcase on TBS. Yes, real eSports on real television. What’s interesting here is that HyperX is the headset sponsor for ELEAGUE and not a memory sponsor. Most of us know Kingston and HyperX better for their memory and storage.

But something that we have learned these last few years is that HyperX produces some truly amazing gaming headsets too. The Cloud II headset is easily one of the best in its price range and the newer HyperX Cloud Revolver further solidifies the company’s position in this market. With expanded brand presence through ELEAGUE, this growth will surely continue.

Check out the full press release below and tune in to Twitch and TBS for more ELEAGUE goodness. The global championship is scheduled for July 30.
