Adding RAM to a system is one of the easiest ways to upgrade it. However product availability can limit exactly how much RAM you can install in your system, HyperX wants to get rid of their limits with new enthusiast level high capacity RAM kits.
The first kit of note is the HyperX 64GB Predator kit. This is a new addition to the Predator family and features four 16GB DIMM modules. These same modules are also available in a 32GB kit of two. The Predator series is designed for the latest generation Intel 100 Series and X99 chipsets and also features 16GB and 32GB kits of four, as well as a 64GB kit of eight modules.
The real eye-catcher of this announcement though, is the HyperX Savage 128GB kit. It features eight 16GB modules rated at speeds of 2666MHz. This joins other previously announced Savage DDR4 memory from 2133MHz to 3000MHz in various single modules and kits from 4GB to 64GB capacities. The Savage line is designed for high performance computing, with XMP profiles optimized for Intel® Core™ i5 and i7 processors and they’re ready to overclock.
Specifications and more info on the new kits can be found in the press release below. No pricing or availability info is included, but since these are additions to an existing product line, we should find out soon.
