The GPU market seems to always be moving. With new products and new drivers showing up, performance can ebb and flow. PC World decided to freeze time, and test every current AMD or NVIDIA GPU in a marathon flurry of testing, giving us a snap shot, of how every GPU performs compared to one another today.

PC World writer Brad Chacos, starts with the entry level 1080p gaming GPUs from both NVIDIA and AMD and works his way up. He starts with the AMD Radeon R7 250X and the NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti, and works his way up. Finally, he reaches the NVIDIA GTX 980, and above it, the AMD Radeon R9 295×2.

This obviously took a marathon session of testing, and Brad has a lot of data to sift through, but he’s able to come up with some pretty interesting results. If you’re in the market for a new GPU, and were wondering where you should go with your budget, then you’ll find the information extremely helpful.
