Enermax_TwisterPressure

The core piece to any cooling configuration is the fans being used to move air. Even if you are using a liquid cooling loop, fans on the radiator are the final step of getting heat out of your PC. The new TwisterPressure fans from Enermax have some new ideas that might just change the way you look at case fans.

The TwisterPressure fans start with the right kinds of updates. The new fan blade design keeps the air pressure up and the noise down. The best way to keep the latter is the new Enermax APS (Adjust Peak Speed), which allows you to decide the maximum speed the PWM will allow. You can keep it at 1200 RPM to keep the noise under control, or you can bump that max up to 1800 RPM to keep the hottest components nice and cool.

We think the Enermax APS is a great design aspect to these fans. You can still have a fan that is controlled by PWM, but customize to fit your needs. A single set of fans can work in several different DIY projects. The MSRP will be at $14.99 for the release this month. More details and specs below.

ENERMAX Releases TwisterPressure – All New High-Pressure, High-Performance Fan

March 28th, 2014, Chino, California – ENERMAX is proud to bring the latest fan innovation for the PC cooling market, the TwisterPressure. This new fan uses a high-pressure blade design which enhances the cooling performance and is the optimal choice for CPU coolers and any applications with dense grills. The TwisterPressure fan features Enermax’s APS PWM, a Twister Bearing design, and is one of the few world-leading fans that can run at 85 degrees Celsius consistently.

High Pressure Blades Design

High Pressure Blade design is a precision engineering of the blade angle and shape calculation. The blades centralize dispersed airflow to the center of the fan and create extremely high air pressure, high airflow while maintaining an outstanding level of silence.

APS (Adjustable Peak Speed) PWM

Patented APS control allows users to adjust their preferred fan peak speed by shifting the speed control at the fan hub. The range of the speed would be regulated automatically through PWM (Pulse-width modulation), with options of 500‾1200/1500/1800. Therefore, the fan will run on a pre-set RPM range of customized performance between cooling performance and silent operation.

Twister Bearing

Patented Twister Bearing with magnetic bearing technology allows friction-free and self-lubricating rotation on our unique patented structure design. Such bearing design permits the fan to operate at extremely silence and for prolonged operation with industry leading MTBF of up to 160,000 hours. Twister bearing also has a quick fan detachment design for cleaning and maintenance.
