When it comes to your primary machine, it only makes sense to lust after the most powerful of components. How else are you going to eke out those extra frames for the best possible gaming experience? But what about your secondary or tertiary device? What if you want a simple yet capable HTPC or you need a cheap computer for streaming? That’s where something like the ECS LIVA X can come into play.

As you can likely imagine, the ECS LIVA X mini PC is an upgraded version of the regular ECS LIVA mini PC that we had seen previously. It offers slightly more extreme performance (the package reads “Xpress Incredible”) in a slick black package. Even the chassis itself is better.

Some of the more notable highlights include the Intel Bay Trail-M N2808 processor, a full 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of eMMC storage. Most of the basics are included here–like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 3.0, and HDMI output–but you are on your own in this case for loading an operating system.
