It was a slow news weekend here at Futurelooks. So instead of posting nothing we decided to search out and find something fun to share. It appears this video definitely makes the cut, and then some. For those of us old enough to remember, it’s a cover of the song “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, originally performed by 90s grunge band Nirvana.

What makes this cover relevant to us? Well, it’s played using old floppy drives and hard drives. Things that some of us may even have in a box somewhere. On the flip side, those of us that are younger may have never seen any of this technology before since it’s all SSDs and USB ports these days. I highly recommend you check it out, because it’s amazing. Some would say, hearing this track played this way is “Nirvana”.

Have you ever had the inclination to re-purpose old PC hardware for the musical arts? Sound off in the comments below!
