For those who don’t know who I’m talking about, Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel is a former professional gamer. Arguably he is one of the first to really popularize esports, making a name for himself in 3D shooters like Quake and Painkiller. Since retiring, he’s lent his name and sponsorship to a number of gamer targeted products. At CES 2016 he, along with industry giant Monster Cable, will be announcing a new partnership to produce gaming headsets.
Details are pretty light thus far, and all we have is the two videos above. One is a teaser in the strictest sense of the word, while the other is a making of for the new products. Why am I posting this when we have so little detail? Well I fragged Fatal1ty once…kinda…and when you have a lame claim to fame you stick with it.
